Dr. Boutros completed his dental training at the University of California, San Francisco in 2006, graduating with high honors. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, he dedicated two years to basic science research in the field of Oral Cancer. His efforts culminated in a master's degree (MS) in oral and craniofacial sciences from the University of California, San Francisco in 2008.
Dr. Boutros commenced his specialty training in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2008. His medical training was completed at Keck School of Medicine at USC, leading to a medical doctor (MD) degree. He completed his general surgery internship at Keck Medical Center at USC and his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.
Dr. Boutros is a California licensed dentist and physician. He is a member of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Boutros is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a clinical instructor and lecturer of continuing education courses focusing on implant surgery. His interests are dental extractions, dental implant surgery and bone grafting, repair of facial traumatic injuries, and removal of cysts and benign tumors of the jaws.
